Lochinvar & A.O. Smith 100208614 Gas Valve

VR8304N4647 is my valve number. This unit replaces it? My Lochinvar unit periodically does not fire up, but will if I turn the power to the unit of and on again. Would this malfunctioning valve cause this? I will hear a click that seems to come from it, then the unit will fire up. No click and it doesn't.

100208614 is the direct replacement for 100171992, VR8304N4647 now and here is the link of this part:
